She was predeceased by: her parents, Torstein Tveter and Borghild Tveter (Westgaard); and her grandmother Josefine Alette "Jossa" Olaisdatter Westgaard. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Norborg of Mishawaka, IN; her brother Stein Tveter of Chicago, IL; her children, Linda Kusz of Mishawaka, Kari Carter (Campbell) of Dayton and Craig Norborg of White Rock; her grandchildren, Christopher Polonka (Kathy), Daniel Polonka, Daniel Carter (Kendra), Emmaline Carter and Maya Carter; her great grandchildren, Everett and Ellie Polonka; and also Rev. Christopher Sverre Norborg I.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to one of Berit's favorite charities: The Humane Society of St. Joseph County or Pet Refuge of South Bend, IN.
