Adkins of Mishawaka, Indiana, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sandra Renee Adkins and Robbie Ellen Adkins; and his brothers, Gene Edward Adkins and Johnny Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Blue Hartsell; his grandchildren, Bobbi Jennings, Austin Adkins, Angie McComas (Todd), Cali Gilliam (Robert), Sarah Benedict, Jessica Bolinger, Alex Adkins (Amy) and Isabel Adkins; his great grandchildren, Jaiden Kuykendoll, Destinee Rospierski, Talan Gilliam, Madilynn Tillman Lillie Gilliam, Audrey Smith and Preceding; and his son Ed.
