He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Beckham and Lucille Beckham (Tidwell); his son Troy Gaugler; his sister Judith Ann; his brother-in-law David Prentkowski; and his grandson Chandler Gaugler.

He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Masters-Gaugler; his children, Kevin Beckham of Mishawaka, Tara Goble (William) of Highland, Tony Gaugler (Sherri) of Elkhart, Jim Gaugler (Brenda) of Mottville and Todd Gaugler (Chad) of South Bend; his grandchildren, Lindsay Gour (Jason), Grace Denney, Cole Gaugler (Nicole Murdoch), Austin Beckham (Yasmeen), Kaley Beckham, Alec Beckham (Clare) and Gavin Goble; his siblings, Guy Beckham (Judy), Marie Davis (Ron), Janis Mikel (Bemis), Danny Beckham (Tami) and Wanda Prentkowski; and also, Jacob Gour, Oliver Beckham and Octavia "Veah" Beckham. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

In his memory, donations may be given to the Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, Indiana, 46545.
