Carol left this world on April 18, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Ted" Mattes and Louise Mattes; and her stepdaughter Kathleen Conley. She is survived by: her stepson Michael Conley (Helen); her stepgrandchildren, Monica Newman (Eric), Malcolm Conley and Madeline Conley; and her cousins, Mary Swihart (David), Marcia Johnstone and Gary Long.
