With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Mahank of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Mahank (DeBruyne) and Charles A. Mahank. He is survived by: his sister Elaine Holmes (Mahank); his siblings-in-law, Larry Holmes and Josephine Witkowski (late Cliff); his children, Tracy Meltzer (Howard), Robert Mahank, Pamela Brown (Tony) and Michele Taylor (Bill); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Stephanie Meltzer, Audrey, Chris, Joe Mahank, Samantha, Mya (David Vandiver), Kayla Brown, Aaron and Caden Taylor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to organizations he supported: "Santa's Elf's Officers" (through the South Bend FOP Lodge #36), The BK Club of Mishawaka, Hospice organizations, or your local food pantry.
