David Sheedy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Sheedy of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Sheedy and Thelma Sheedy (Manis); and his siblings, Evelyn Foland and Ivan "Sonny" Sheedy. He is survived by: his sons, David Sheedy (Jacque) of South Bend, IN, Matthew Sheedy (Kate) of Queen Creek, AZ, Patrick Sheedy (Linda) of Verona, WI and John Sheedy (Tracey) of New Carlisle, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (52473 State Hwy 933, South Bend, IN 46637).
