He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Sr. Gearhart and Inez Gearhart (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gearhart; his children, Kathleen Gearhart (Tate Hooker) of Fort Liberty, NC and James Gearhart of Mishawaka, IN; and his sisters, Jan Sauer (Barry) of Elkhart, Marsha Fletcher (Kevin) of Elkhart and Debra Moore of Elkhart.
