Doloras A. Dan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2025, at the age of 84, Doloras A. Dan of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doloras A. Dan to pay them a last tribute.
Though Doloras may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doloras touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Scheuchner and Edith Hasse Scheuchner; and her husband John Dan. She is survived by: her children, Christy Dan of Glen Ellen, Sandra Boldt of South Bend and Michael Dan (Lisa) of Knox; and her brothers, Marvin Scheuchner (Ellen) of Michigan City and Gerald Scheuchner (DiDi) of Trenton. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mc Smith Funeral Home (153 E Washington St, Knox, IN 46534). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Starke County Humane Society or Community Services of Starke County Food Pantry.
