She was predeceased by: her significant other Willard J. Minix; her parents, Wylie Risner and Bertha Risner (Cole); her grandson Gregory Zick; and her siblings, Selie Arnett, Helen Cole, Fannie Nichols, Rosie Queer, Virginia Risner, Willard Marshall, Edward Risner, Knoy "Peanut" Risner, Robert Risner and Willie Risner.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Minix Humes of Osceola, IN and Michael Minix (Cathy) of Mishawaka, IN.; and her grandchildren, Amanda Conard of Mishawaka, IN, Brittany Wireman (Michael) of South Bend, IN, Steven Zick of Elkhart, IN and Ricky Todd of Nappanee, IN.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at the First General Baptist Church (11101 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior Project.
