It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene E. Wentzel of Mishawaka, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Paul Wentzel and Ada Cissna (Crowder). He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Kuemin of South Bend, Mike Wentzel (Kathie) of South Bend and Mark Wentzel of Lawton, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Carol Berg (Jim) of Arizona and Larry P. Wentzel (Donna) of South Bend. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
