He was predeceased by: his parents, Hargo Obenchain and Margaret Obenchain (Jensen); his wife Sue Obenchain (Newton); and his brother John Obenchain. He is survived by: his children, Sondra Swede (Jordy Lawson) of Danville, Brenda Audritsh (Stephen) of Carmel, Dennis Obenchain of Crawfordsville and Linda Wilborn (David) of Bainbridge; and his grandchildren, Robert Biehn, Christopher Biehn, John Paul Biehn, John Andrew Plahitko, Jennifer Allison, Daniel Obenchain, Sara Obenchain, Jessie Hoskins, Danielle Hinds and Ellen Wilborn. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
