It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Evans of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Zawadzki and Margaret Zawadzki (Bluemke); her husband Frank Joseph Evans; her daughter Vicki Jacobs; and her son-in-law Robert Sandefur.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Sandefur of Mishawaka; her grandchildren, Joseph Sandefur (Heather Visari), Adam Sandefur (Cyndi), Nick Sandefur, Jeremy "Hubba" Sandefur, Allen Jacobs and Rachel Jacobs; her great grandchildren, Evan, Garrett, Gunnar, Edward, Ariana Jacobs and Kaylan Chaput; and her friends, Mary, Gregg and Brett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
