He was predeceased by: his father James Gouge; and his siblings, Joyce and Tracy. He is survived by: his children, Symantha Davis (Kristian) of Kankakee, MaryKay Gouge of Chicago, Sheila Cruz (Dominick) of Kankakee, Shelly Reyes (Anthony) of Kankakee, Susan Hirsch (Cara) of Kankakee, Ayden Gouge (Anna) of Mary Lake and James Gouge Jr. of Kankakee, Illinois; and his brother Richard Gouge (Carol) of Kankakee, Illinois.. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
