We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2023, at the age of 94, James Henry Schmidt (Mishawaka, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Schmidt and Grace Schmidt (Drew); his daughters, Jean Dare of LaPorte, Jill Heyde (Gregg) of Mishawaka and Donna Stanley of Mishawaka; his grandchildren, Amy Manuszak (Rob), Lisa Thresh (Tom), Jim Dare (Celeste), Carri Quimby (Armando Luva), Marcus Quimby (Chrissy), Camiel Laurie (Ricky), Sean Stanley and Deanna Stanley; his wife Norma Schmidt (VanHove); and his sons-in-law, Bill Dare and Bill Routson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's honor may be given to Saint Peter Lutheran Church, 437 East Dragoon Trail, Mishawaka, IN 46544.
