We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 73, James O. Smith (Mishawaka, Indiana), born in South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ormal Smith and Sylvia Smith (Enyart). He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Laramie (David) of Plainfield, IL and Jamie Young of Kyle, TX; his grandchildren, Justin Mensinger, Xander Osborn, Brianna Laramie, Kaitlyn Young, Ryan Laramie and Ember Young; and his close friend Kelly Birk of Granger, IN..

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of James O. Smith may be donated to Heartland Animal Rescue, 4540 Grape Rd. Mishawaka, IN 46545.
