It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kalus in Mishawaka, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jean Lane; her husband Jack Kalus; and her children, Debi Freese and Michael Freese. She is survived by: her children, Maggie Freese (Robert) of Mishawaka, Tracey Freese (Marc) of Mishawaka, Brooke Jenkins (Max) of Arizona and Curtis Freese (Nancy) of South Bend; her grandchildren, Trevor, Curtis, Christopher, Alex, Amy, Shawn, Sara, Shannon, Ben and Xenia; and her siblings, Snookie, Peg, Jerry, Chip and Gordy. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
