He was predeceased by: his parents, William Black and Sharon Black (Baker). He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Dorbin; his children, Chloe Black and Adam Black; his siblings, Courtney Oduro (Francis), Sarah Black, Amy Karanja (Stephen), Wendy Staten (Floyd), Jamie and Joshua Black; his nephews, Brandon (Ashley), Alex (Abby), Noah, Jazmine, Payton, Joe, Chandler, Allison and Lucas; his in-laws, Steve, Sue and Jennifer; his aunt Patty; and his uncle John Grubb.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
