He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Lanting and Helen Lanting (Madderom); and his son David Lanting. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Lanting (Fulton); his sons, Paul (Dawn) and Bryan Lanting; his stepdaughters, Kristin Swenson and Adrianne Swenson (Gilbert); his grandchildren, Caitlyn (Nick), Darien, Tyler and Cameron (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Adalana and Bellamy; his stepgrandchildren, Evan, Gabrielle and Myles; and his brothers, Henry (Cheryl) and Michael Lanting (Linda).
