She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Lakner and Mary Lakner (Horvath); and her brothers, Joseph and Frank Lakner. She is survived by: her husband John A. Lockwitz III; her daughters, Lisa Hartz (Pete) and Jennifer Lockwitz (Dave Groves); her grandchildren, Chris Lockwitz (Katie), Kaitlyn Conner, Cameron Conner and Marissa Davis; and her great grandchildren, Cohen and Joey. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place Mishawaka, IN 46545.
