He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Carpenter and Carol Geier Carpenter; and his siblings, Vicki Williams (Dennis) and John Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Kelley Murphy; his children, Molly Smith (Hunter) of Bradenton, FL, Nicholas Furillo of Youngstown, OH and Vincent Furillo of Bradenton, FL; his grandsons, Jackson, Noah and Jordan Furillo; his son Hendrix Smith; and his siblings, Kay Carpenter, Gail Hendrix, Suzanne Rickey of South Bend, IN. and Dave Carpenter of Mishawaka, IN.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
