She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Schrock and Lucy Schrock (Steury); her son Gilbert Shaw; and her siblings, Rose Aust, Marie Detwiler, Ada Axel, Ruth Sleppy, Lilian Smoots, Ervin and Melvin Schrock.
She is survived by: her children, Star DeLater (Larry) of Osceola, Tom Borneman (Carol) of South Bend and Cyndi Wagster (Shawn). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
