He was predeceased by: his father Harold A. Balmer. He is survived by: his wife Sharon A. Hurlbut Balmer; his children, Lowell Allen Balmer (Pam Poyser) of Mishawaka, Tina Marie Hoffman (Chad) of Seattle and Shannon Marie Balmer (Ian McMillan) of Tampa, Florida; his grandchildren, Allen Balmer, Chad Hoffman, II, Brittani Hoffman, Fiona McMillan and Fallyn McMillan; his great grandchild Kenneth Burger; and his siblings, Robert Balmer of Columbus, Dale Balmer of Virginia and Barb Pittman of Indiana.
