It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn L. Schmitt of Mishawaka, Indiana, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Nicolini and Martha J. Nicolini (Kunce); her granddaughter Rachel Ann Schmitt; and her siblings, John M. Nicolini, Gene "Nick" Nicolini and Becky Kendro.
She is survived by: her husband David A. Schmitt Sr.; her sons, David A. Schmitt Jr. (Wendy) of South Bend and John M. Schmitt of Mishawaka; her grandchildren, Brianna McIntosch (Garry), Jessica Martin (Allen), Kayla, Ryan and Katie Schmitt; and her sisters, Susan Vannoni of Phoenix, AZ and Ann Hepler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
