He is survived by: his wife Joan R.; his children, Dennis Pynaert (Carolyn) and Karen Barcome; his grandchildren, Phillip P. Pynaert III, Elizabeth Pynaert, Shayna Pynaert, Austin Barcome (Allie) and Erin Barcome; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Pynaert, Ava Pynaert, Kiptyn Stump, Brody Barcome, Audrey Barcome and Lucy Barcome.
