We bid farewell to Phyllis Cowsert (Mishawaka, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Phyllis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wallace and Bessie Wallace (Burkett); and her siblings, Linda Cowsert, Wayne, George and Walter Wallace.
She is survived by: her significant other Jack Cowsert; and her children, Patricia Parker (Steven), Pamla Derby (Glenn), Karen Horvath (Rick) and Kevin Cowsert. She is also survived by grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel (3910 N Main St, Mishawaka, IN 46545). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
