She was predeceased by: her father William Anderson; her son Mark; and her sister Judi Luke. She is survived by: her husband John W. Thompson; her children, Michele Guros (David Dillon), Michael Thompson (Natalie) and Lindy Dreher; her grandchildren, Jordan Hollins, Christian Thompson (Lacey), Cassidy Guros, Colin Dreher, Trey Thompson, Chace Thompson, Brock Cavurro and Gia Simeri; her sisters, Gloria Buysse (Russ) and Marlene Davidson; and her sister-in-law Jan Hoenk (Robert).
