He was predeceased by: his father Larry Ziegert. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Staelens; his sons, Brandon Ziegert, Richard Ziegert and Xavier Ziegert; his mother Constance "Connie" Quinn (Robert); and his brothers, Kirk Ziegert (Jill) and Eric Ziegert (Connie Gill). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
