It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca D. Eads of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rebecca D. Eads to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett McKelvey and Patsy McKelvey (Mansel); her husband Bobby Clayton; and her granddaughters, Nicole and Christina Jackey.
She is survived by: her former husband Harry Eads; her children, Cynthia Newsom, Jamie Smith (Max) and William "BJ" Brown Jr.; her stepdaughter Stacy Eads; her sister Sherry Reeves (Mitch); the father of her children William Brown; her grandchildren, Desmond Eagan, LeShae Smith, Izayah Newsom (Brittany), Savannah Newsom, Taylor Jackey, Alyssa Jackey, Brandon Jackey and Cheyenne Brown; and her great grandchildren, Deliah Jackey, Nova Smith, Winston Eby and Emmett Newsom.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wells and Cruz Family Funeral Home (503 W 3rd St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
