He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Blain and Irene Blain; and his siblings, Pat Plank, Phyllis Hankins and Rodney Blain.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen E. Blain; his sons, Andrew Blain (Lesley) of Plymouth, MA, Brian Blain of South Bend, IN. and Phillip Blain of South Bend, IN.; and his grandchildren, Jack and Ava.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home - Welsheimer North (17033 Cleveland Rd, South Bend, IN 46635). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
