He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Darlene Ewald. He is survived by: his wife Terrie Mack; his brother Jerome Ewald; his sister-in-law Judy Sander; and his sibling's children, Dawn Ewald, Cindy O'Neil (Hal), Cheryl Kingsbury (Michael), Daryl, Derek Ewald (Georgann) and James Sander. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
