He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Sandefur and Leah "Marie" Sandefur (Stanage); and his siblings, Carolyne Sandefur, Thelma England, Edith Marlene Wittner, Pearl Johnson, Gloria Dunn, Connie Boyle, Hubert Sandefur and Chester Sandefur.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Evans; his sons, Joseph Sandefur (Heather Visari), Adam Sandefur (Cyndi), Nick Sandefur and Jeremy "Hubba" Sandefur; his grandchildren, Evan, Garrett, Gunnar, Edward Sandefur, Kammi, Darrick Dustin and Kaylan O'Connell; his siblings, Beverly Holderman, Fred Sandefur (Dee) and Lucky Sandefur (Cheryl); his son Ryan Dustin (Tammy); and his mother-in-law Irene Evans.
