Roger E. Howard Obituary
We announce the death of Roger E. Howard in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Sr. Howard and Evangeline Howard (Whitesinger); his siblings, Ambrose Jr., Edith, Gary, Noel and Jerry; and his son-in-law Brennan.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Craig (Jaime), Steven (Kelly), Daniel (Sara) and Marianne; his grandchildren, Alex (Michelle), Lucas, Isaac, Corey, Kylie, Kamery, Carson and Mira; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Alinity, Kaya, Addilyn and Axton; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent Catholic Church (1108 S Main St, Elkhart, IN 46516).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Center for Hospice in Mishawaka or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
