She was predeceased by: her parents, Remi Slos and Clementine Slos (Demaertelaere); her husband Marvin Hurlbut; and her sister Bonnie Boone. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Balmer of Mishawaka and Bob Hurlbut of Mishawaka; and her siblings, Marlene Matricardi (Fred) of Phoenix, Joann Burns of Columbia City, Indiana and David Slos of Bremen, Indiana.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice, 230 W. Catalpa Drive, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
