The passing of Ruth L. Yocum of Mishawaka, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 95. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Handley and Opal Handley (Strahle); her husband Marvin W. Yocum; and her siblings, Robert Ahnemiller, Elmer Handley, Helen Alexander, Betty Walkden, Doris Worthy, Pat Taylor and Ella Smorse.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Yocum (Carrie), Carol Gradeless (Ron), Tim Yocum (Cindy) and Lisa Burkhart (Rich); her grandchildren, Melissa McPhilamy, Kelly Raber, Emily Livengood, Sarah Weaver, Matt Gradeless, Dan Yocum, Kristin Elsner, Tom Burkhart, Aaron Burkhart, Rachel Burkhart, Abigail Burkhart and Katherine Yocum; and her siblings, Linda Colson of Michigan and Robert Handley of Granger, IN. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561).
