It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra E. Gawenda of Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Andrews and Lulu Andrews (Smith); her spouse Jerry Gawenda; her daughter Samra Sue Obren; and her brother Keith Andrews.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lee and Kirk Obren (Cathy); and her grandsons, Kevin (Krista) and Todd Obren (Tiffany). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
