She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Schelestraete and Margerat Schelestraete (De Slover); her husband Thomas Dewey; and her siblings, Elsie Hobkirk, Joseph Schelestraete, Ed Schelstraete, Prosper Schelstraete and Michael Schelstraete.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Jakubowski (Joe) and Troy Dewey (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Hannah Jakubowski and Haylie Jakubowski. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
