She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Lois Yankee; her husband Samuel F. Kindley; and her siblings, Archie Yankee Jr. and Glenna Harter. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Barhydt (Tim); her stepsons, John Kindley (Julie) and David Kindley; her granddaughters, Abby and Samantha "Jo" Barhydt; her siblings, Jane Weesner, Jim Yankee and Ann Dylewski; her daughter-in-law Michelle Kindley; and her pets, Cloey Jean, Lola and Sophie. She is also survived by ten step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home (505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
