With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas E. Lapkiewicz (Mishawaka, Indiana), born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on April 2, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Lapkiewicz and Caroline Lapkiewicz (Cyndrowski); his daughter Karen Lapkiewicz; his sister Judy DeWinter; his siblings-in-law, Bob DeWinter and Pam Lapkiewicz; and his mother-in-law Thora Graybeal.
He is survived by: his wife Fran; his daughters, Cheryl Lapkiewicz and Susan Lapkiewicz; his stepchildren, Jennifer Creel (Mark) and Douglas Callagee; his brother John Lapkiewicz; his brothers-in-law, Coyle Atkinson (Tina) and William Atkinson (Pam); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Thomas), Krista (Tyler), Braden, Alyssa (Steven), Christopher (Kirsten), Michael and Trenton; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Kayden, Everleigh and Maia; his aunt Theresa Sikorski; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathan Lapkiewicz (Staci), Paula Rajski (Danny), Doug DeWinter (Jennifer) and Deb Cseh (Mike); and his close friends, Mike and Barb Scanlon. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
