She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cagle and Mary Cagle (Langan); her husband Charles Edward Nix; and her sons, Allan and Rick Peterson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Anderson (Wallace) of Mishawaka, IN and April Peterson of Imlay City, MI; her stepson Joseph Nix of Alabama; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Peterson of Herrin. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
