“Bill was a true gentleman and scholar. It is with great sadness that we bid him farewell although he will remain part of the fabric that the museum stands for in its educational mission. Bill was a part of that educational mission very early on with his two series of lectures he developed with area artists and scientists in the 1980s. Bill became a joyful and beloved contributing member of the regular weekly gallery talks at the Midwest Museum. We send our best regards to the family.”
