Bernard Esboldt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Bernard Esboldt of Mitchell, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Esboldt and Celia Snell Esboldt (Snell); his former wife Arlene; his children, Martin Esboldt and Karen Esboldt; and his brother Robert Esboldt.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Homan Esboldt; his stepchildren, Joshua Shope (Shasta) and Samantha Modi (Jay); his grandchildren, Samir, Divyana, Adam, Olivia and Damon; his nephew Rob Esboldt (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Esboldt, Sharon Cook, Martin Homan (Sandra) and David Homan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel (818 18th St, Bedford, IN 47421). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church (777 S 11th St, Mitchell, IN 47446).
Contributions in memory of Bernie may be made to the Tootsie Roll Drive for Knights of Columbus or Hoosier Uplands Hospice.
