In the vast expanse of eternity, Herman shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Herman farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Chastain Sr. and Lena Pearl Ray. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Chastain; his children, Timmy Chastain, Cheryl Chastain, Tony Hart, Jane Johnson and Jimmy Yarbrough Jr.; and his sister Mary Alice Chastain Branstetter. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Talbott Cemetery.
