She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John W. Smith; her children, Jeff Smith (Kim), John Smith (Pam), Joe Smith (Beth), Anita Oldham (Brian), Chris Smith (Kim) and Jeremy Smith (Liz); her grandchildren, Joshua Smith (Jodi), Jessica Alyea (Patrick), Jonathan Smith (Emma), Jacob Smith (Whitney), Olivia Walker (Logan), Simon Smith, Madison Herran (Reid), Sidney Smith, Weston Smith, Kayla Hammitt (Nate), Jarret Oldham (Anna), Grant Oldham (Alora), Zach Smith (Shelby), Isaac Smith (Jenna), Kristal Fank (Vincent), Luke Smith, Josh Smith, Jaxton Smith and Hadleigh McCullough (Bryce); her brother David Stephenson; and her parents, Dorothy Stephenson and S. V. Stephenson. She was also cherished by 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at the Freedom Cemetery (2100 IN-37, Mitchell, IN 47446).
