She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginal Blanton (Doc) and Eula Blanton (Roberts); and her siblings, Rita Knight and Blane Blanton. She is survived by: her husband Richard Johnson; her children, Richard "Dirty" Packard and Trista Vernon (Christopher); her stepdaughters, Amy Johnson (Jimmy Lucas) and Alisha Johnson; her grandchildren, Parker Burton, Payton Blanton, Korbin, Kolter Hopper, Emma Ferguson (Jake), Bristal Packard, David Ely, Aidan, Maddox, Madeline and Ava Vernon; her great grandchildren, Kien Morris and Frankie Ferguson; her siblings, Richard Gregory, Mike Blanton, Charlie Blanton, Lloyd Blanton and Sheila Knight; and her cousin Helen Sharpe (Bell). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes (818 18th St, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
