He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Abe" Allen and Charlotte Allen (Abel); his sister Doris Skarvan; and his brother-in-law Alber McBride. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Slaughter; his son Robert Jr. (Deborah); his stepdaughter Nancy Jean Maragioglio (Anthony); his granddaughter Felicia Bruner (Stephen); his siblings, Helen McBride and Tom Allen (Jane); his brother-in-law Charles Skarvan; Austin, Kairi and Elijah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
