He is survived by: his mother Sandra Kay Lewis (Guthrie) of Mitchell; his children, Tyler Guthrie of Mitchell and Kyle Guthrie of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Vincent Guthrie, Jersey Guthrie and Braxton Guthrie; his stepsiblings, Mark, Marty, Jason and Allison; his sibling's children, Darby and Dillon; his aunt Connie Hill; his cousin Gina Sullivan; his pet Sadie; Mike Guthrie (Donna), Jeff Guthrie (Diana) and Steve Guthrie (Teresa).
