He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Holt and Louise Holt (Johnson); and his siblings, Joan Hall, Virginia Earl, Anabelle Blake, Bernice Beacher and Bob Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Jane Holt of Mitchell; his sons, Gary Holt of Mitchell, Danny Holt (Judy) of Mitchell, Rick Holt (Tammy) of Mitchell and Greg Holt (Lori) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Lorie Murphy (David), Eric Holt, Sarah Antonucci (Mike) and Hannah Greenwell (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Tyler Holt, Hunter Holt, Isaac Beck (Shelby), Ian Beck, Madilyn Briner, Elouise Greenwell and Isla Beck.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chastain Funeral Home (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at the Mitchell Cemetery (1315 W Brook St, Mitchell, IN 47446).
