He is survived by: his children, Timothy Merry (Teela) of Mitchell and Tracy Knoblock (Mark) of Mishawaka; his grandchildren, Brooke Merry, Dylan Sullivan (Stephanie), Taylor Baker (Justin) and Nicholas Knoblock (Cassidy); his great grandchildren, Athena Merry, Cole Martin, Miriam Sullivan, Amelia "Millie" Sullivan, Coda Baker, Emily Baker and Alexandra Knoblock; and his brother Watson Merry (Kay) of Mitchell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chastain Funeral Home (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Bonds Chapel Cemetery.
