We announce the death of Stephen D. Gregory Sr. of Modoc, Indiana, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 85. Stephen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart F. Gregory and Norma Mae Gregory (Bledsoe); his wife Jeraldine; and his siblings, Drexel, Gale Gregory, Ella Mae, Dorothy, Dolly and Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Tammie Wright (Terry) of Economy, Lona Wesley (Larry) of Albany, Charity Hayre of Modoc and Stephen Gregory, Jr. (Sami) of Muncie; his grandchildren, Chris Wright, Tiffany Lynn (Bill), Brittany Wright (Rondol O'Hair), Amber Reffitt (Cory), Kristen Wesley (Tim Fultz), Solomon Gregory, Taylor Parrish (Tristan) and Corra Hayre; his great grandchildren, Kaidence Ragan (Corey Williams), Haven Toles (Aden), Braxton Lynn, Brooks Lynn, Abby Lynn, Liam Lynn, Gage O'Hair, Jocelyn Moser, Dylan Reffitt, Caleb Reffitt, Harper Wilson and Spencer Hayre; and his great great grandchildren, Rowan Toles, Tatum Toles and Beau Williams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Blountsville Congregational Christian Church (7746 E High St, Losantville, IN 47354). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
