He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Young and Alberta Young (Mohler); his son Derek Young; his sister Patricia "Pat" Hall; and his brother-in-law Arnold Hall.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gerold Young (Phyllis) of Monon and Larry Young (Ruth) of Walton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many great friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clapper Family Funeral Home (197 IN-16, Monon, IN 47959). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
